  • I have 8 pieces of tile in the middle of my kitchen floor that have cracked and need to be replaced. My installer wants to use thin set to secure the new tile. I talked to an employee at the retail store where I purchased the replacement tile and they recommended PL400 Loctite to complete the job. Is thin set acceptable or should the Loctite product be used.
  • We recommend using the PL400, or a comparable, quality construction adhesive, in tile replacements. Please use this link to the repair/replacement instructions and video, located on our website, or give us a call at 877-263-5861 for more information. Also, we'd be happy to assist your installer. He can give us a call with any questions on the repair/replacement process. Thank you.

  • I also would recommend PL400. Don't go for too much thin set.
