Install Under New Kitchen Cabinets
  • Can Snapstone be installed underneath new kitchen cabinets?

    SnapStone reply:
Unlike floating laminate floors,SnapStone doesn't move much if any. The perimeter gaps are to allow movement of the structure more than the movement of the floor. I've installed SnapStone under a few kitchen cabinets and haven't had any problems. I would stay away from large sets of cabinets with heavy granite countertops. Otherwise if there isn't anything that is fastening the cabinets to the floor you should be fine.

Thank you. I only plan to install the tile so that it is just under the front edge of the toe kicks of the cabinets and will fill in the space to the wall with same thickness plywood.
